Sean Landry

Sean Landry was Elliot James Landry’s older paternal half-brother and the son of Vernon Landry. Sean abused Elliot during childhood and adulthood. Elliot ultimately reported the violence, ended contact with Sean, and left the shared Brownsville apartment.

Sean was twenty-one on January 15, 2019. His exact birth date has not been established.

Family Background

Sean was Vernon’s son from a previous relationship and Elliot’s older paternal half-brother. He struggled with addiction and had a history of substance-related violence.

Abuse of Elliot Landry

Sean subjected Elliot to repeated verbal and physical abuse. Elliot slept with a knife under his pillow during periods when he feared Sean’s violence.

Broken Wrist and Hospital Visit

On January 15, 2019, Sean twisted Elliot’s left wrist until it broke. Sean then drove him to St. James Hospital ER and left before hospital staff could question him. The visit resulted in an abuse report.

Brownsville Apartment

Elliot later lived with Sean in a Brownsville apartment. Elliot slept on a mattress on the floor, kept a knife under his pillow, and depended on CPAP for obstructive sleep apnea. Sean destroyed the CPAP equipment.

Jacob’s 2032 job offer gave Elliot enough financial stability to leave the apartment, and Jacob Keller offered him a room in the Park Laurel apartment.

Gun Threat and Estrangement

After Elliot began working for Jacob, Sean held a loaded gun to Elliot’s head during another confrontation but did not fire. Elliot left the apartment and spent the night in his car. With support from Jacob and Logan Weston, Elliot filed domestic violence charges and permanently ended contact. Sean was incarcerated and was still serving his sentence eight years later.

Sean had no further contact with Elliot after the threat and subsequent charges.
